2. UW Class navigation project, INFO 200
This item was a project done with groups in a Informatics class, designed to help people in the class learn about the basics of designing, information technology and basic group working. This was one of the 3 papers we had to work on, showcasing the final prototype of a mapping app for UW students, helping them get to their destination classroom easier, and faster.
It showcases a strong example of group work and individual skill for me. I had to work on most of the designing aspects, while my other teammates mostly worked on the research, essays, and others work since I was slightly ahead of my designing skills due to the course I completed. The result of this project was very rewarding, and we were able to get a good grade on it, as well as the teacher’s assistant showcasing our design to the class.

7. My portfolio
This artifact is a portfolio showcasing the work and designs this person has done over these years, as well as describing the person, their contacts, and other information so that they can have companies and people look over the work and contact them
I chose this artifact to show my portfolio which will keep on updating and refining as years go on as I continue to work on more projects and gain more experience in designing websites. This portfolio work has been super fun making, but also time consuming, since I must cater to all screen types such as tablet, mobile, and computer screens, and having to adjust all of them was a grueling task
1. New House.com
This google slide is about designing a website/app for a UX design course that was offered by google, and this app is made and designed solely for the purpose of making buying and renting apartments and houses easier, and easier to search up, with a design that's pleasant to see.
I included this artifact because this was one of the biggest personal projects I've worked on and has been a great showcase example for my design work. It also taught me a lot about designing and made me a lot better at my work after revising and finalizing many times.
5. Restaurant app
This artifact is also about designing a website/app but for a local restaurant that needed help on making a takeout and delivery option on the website. This app makes everyone who uses the app easy to use, and also has a lot of options for different users who cannot perform usual tasks and better accessibility for users.
I chose this artifact since this was my first personal UX designing project, and I was able to learn the basics of designing, researching, and other design related activities. Looking back at this now, I realized that this design is very flawed and does not look as well as my recent projects, making me proud of how much I have improved on my work.

13. Mitsubishi Poster, Winter 2024
A poster of Mitsubishi corporation created to finish our final project. The final project was to showcase a global company we chose from the start of the year and do extensive research on it over the quarter and make a physical poster on the last day to show the whole class as if it was a gallery art walk. This poster shows a lot of data and history of Mitsubishi corporation, and how they evolved over the years.
I chose Mitsubishi Corporation as my global company because I'm familiar with it and it resonates with me as a Japanese national. However, I faced challenges while gathering information for the poster due to the distinct operations of its American and Japanese branches. I often found myself mixing up data from different regions, which required multiple rounds of editing and revising to clarify and organize the information effectively.
15. Creative portfolio, B EDUC, Winter 2024
A creative portfolio serves as a collage of all the work we completed in our BEDUC class, showcasing a diverse array of pieces, including poems, essays, stories, and other creative works. Throughout the course, we worked on various writing styles, allowing us to explore different voices and perspectives. Each piece in this portfolio reflects not only our growth as writers but also the unique insights we gained from experimenting with different forms of expression, sense, touch and other feelings. This journey has improved my appreciation for the art of writing and highlighted the power of creativity in communicating our ideas and emotions.
I chose this artifact because this class was a refreshing departure from other writing courses I've taken. Instead of concentrating on traditional essays and readings, we focused on creativity and self-expression, which made the experience truly engaging. I also spent considerable time revising my poems to meet portfolio standards, as the initial quality of my writing wasn't quite where I wanted it to be at the start of the quarter. The most memorable project was being able to write about an experience I had with ghosts when I was a baby and present it to the entire class.

8. Individual ideation, BISMCS 243, Spring 2023
A project done in the BISMCS class, showing the thought process, inspiration, and result of a group project that was worked on. This PowerPoint shows the moodboard, which is a collage of pictures and colors that you want your app/website to look like and have the vibe of. This mockup is what the idea of the final section will look like, and the task flow diagram is a diagram of the directions and instructions on where to go on the website/app
I chose this artifact because this was one of the most enjoyable tasks I have completed in UW Bothell, which also happened to be my first interaction design class. I believe this class solidified my dream work and what I wanted to do when I went out of college for a full time job. This was also a group work environment which also encouraged the thinking of collaboration and creativity discussions.
17. Review paper about teens with ADHD
The review paper delves into how teens with ADHD and teens without ADHD interact with social media differently how their mental health is also impacted by it and how different their health is. The paper focuses on analyzing other research paper methods and discussing what research method works the best and each of the method’s pros and cons.
I included this project because it was a informative research paper about ADHD that is useful to anyone researching about this topic, and it was also my first research paper that was done during my college years.
